Hi!  I am back with another seasonal project for you to try!  Easter is early this year, so you need to make your plans pronto for any Easter baskets the bunny might bring your little ones (or big ones!)   😉    This little treat box is super-easy to put together and also easy to mass assemble for classroom treats.  I am planning on putting jelly beans in mine!  You need to have a Cricut Cutting machine and the Close to My Heart Cricut Artist Cartridge in order to make this box.  Here is everything else I used to make it…

Buttons Green Assortment

Orange Paper (this is from an old paper packet called Dotty for You)

Baker’s Twine Neutral Assortment

Topiary Alcohol Marker

Glue Dots

ATG adhesive (or other strong adhesive for 3D items)

I didn’t have the right color green twine, so I decided to make my own!  I simply used my Topiary Alcohol Ink Marker to color the white twine!  It worked so well.  I really love the peeks of white that still show.  There are assembly instructions included with the Artiste Collection for the various 3D shapes.  The one I used for the carrot is on page 61 of the handbook and I cut it out at 4 inches on relative dial size.  The holes in the top of the carrot are already cut out for you on the cricut, so all you need to do is string the twine through and attach the button with a bow.  Then I kept the button in place with a glue dot.  I frayed the ends of my twine with a poker tool when I was finished.  Isn’t it adorable?  🙂

If you want, you can even make up some cute little tags to add to them like this one that I made…

I used the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection to cut the tag and egg shapes out of the gorgeous Chantilly Paper Packet.   I also used one of the polk-a-dot squares that are left over from the Irresistibles Frames which are a new product!  I love these!  You can ink them up to match anything!

I hope these easy treat boxes inspire you make your own little Easter treats this year!
