Hi everyone!  I have been mostly a scrapper/cardmaker in my crafting, so I decided to branch out into the world of Home Decor items a bit more.  I found a wonderfully sturdy 7″ square chipboard box and decided it would be my first “victim,” lol.  I am simply amazed at how it turned out and am now hooked on them!  This one is a gift for a wonderful teacher at the end of the school year.

Here are the various Close to My Heart products that helped me turn a plain box into a beautiful keepsake:

CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Bundle

Wings B&T Duos bulk paper

Sweat Leaf, Buttercup and Vanilla Cream Cardstock

Cocoa, Olive, and Creme Brulee Exclusive Ink Pads

Color-Ready Garden Wooden Shapes

Dimensional Elements Mixed Shapes

Sparkles Blue and Green Assortment

Antique Copper Brads

Cocoa Collection Ribbon Rounds

Liquid Glass

Round Sponge

I also used Mod Podge to seal it up and keep it in good shape for years to come.

After finishing the box, I decided to make this tag to add just the right personal touch.   This project was so much fun that I am planning on making many more boxes to come.  In fact, you can see my second box re-make right HERE on my blog!  I highly recommend giving it a try!
