Hi all you wonderful readers out there.

I created this fun card for my 14 yr old grandson, Trey who just spent a week with us in Southern CA.  I wanted to let him know how much fun we had and what a great kid he is.  It was a wonderful experience.

I wanted to create a card for a male; so I started with my “Dotty For You” paper packet.  I used the CTMH “You Are” April stamp of the month and the CTMH “Blue Ribbon” stamp set for the outside.  I stamped part of the inside with the CTMH “Things” stamp set.  I made an error on the stamp inside as I am still learning how much ink to use on them.  I created all the shapes from CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

This is the most useful cartridge I have found of the Cricut cartridges.  I use it in making all my cards and many of my scrapbooking pages.  When I first saw this cartridge;  I didn’t think I needed all those labels.   Then I started reviewing blogs and other creations online and I realized if you enlarged those 700 images; you could use them for many different things.

I absolutley love the CTMH “Dotty For You” paper packet.  I have made several cards with this paper and still  haven’t used them all yet.  There are so many different patterns to choose from.  Be sure and order yours from April 17 – May 31.

CTMH "You Are" and "Blue Ribbon" Stamp sets

The shapes for the inside of my card were also from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.  I used the computer to create the list of 10 things; which I printed on ColorBok parchment paper.   I couldn’t get my printer to print on the cardstock for some reason.

Supplies I used for this 6 1/2 x 5 card:

  • Cardstock: CTMH Colonial White and Lagoon
  • Paper: CTMH “Dotty For You”
  • Stamp Sets: CTMH “You Are”, “Blue Ribbon” and “Things”
  • Shapes: CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge
  • Ink: CTMH Lagoon
  • Foam Mounting Tape

I hope you enjoyed this card.  I had fun creating it.  It put a lot of thought into expressing what I wanted to say.  I can’t wait to hear if my grandson likes it or not.  I sent it yesterday.
